Toyota has introduced that Tundra designs starting with the 2022 design year are readily available with a TRD 3-inch lift kit. It’s a vendor installed option and is made to work with the Toyota Basic safety Feeling technique.
“There are numerous compromises with aftermarket elevate kits, some of which can impact the perform of vehicle functions or protection devices,” Mikhal el Arculli, TRD principal engineer suggests. “We have created this package to operate seamlessly with the Tundra’s typical options, keep all Toyota Basic safety Feeling (TSS) features, maintain related stock driving dynamics by developing a package with a superior center of gravity and provide a glimpse and truly feel consumers want with a lift.”
The elevate kit has a 3-inch lift at the front and a 2-inch lift at the rear. It features Bilstein monotube shocks, Roush forged higher management arms and TRD crimson coil springs. The kit will increase the ground clearance by 2.6 inches, it also boosts off-street capability with enhanced method and departure angles. The technique angle will increase from 21. to 26. levels and departure angle from 24. to 25. degrees.
The raise package is priced at $3,995, not including installation labor. It is out there for the Tundra iForce and iForce-Max 4×4 versions with both the 5.5- or 6.5-foot mattress. The package is not compatible with the TRD Pro, TRD Sport or vehicles equipped with the optional Adaptive Variable Suspension or air suspension.
