Old Cars Reader Wheels: 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS

1967-Camaro-RS---SS

Lawrence Weiner was like many of us who always regretted letting the “one” get away. Lawrence decided to do something about it and made sure the second time around would be the charm with his impressive fountain of youth ’67 Camaro.

This is what Lawrence had to say about his stunning Bowtie…

“In the spring 1969, I purchased a low mile, bone stock 1967 Camaro SS350 from the original owner who had been drafted. As soon as I had a little extra money, I started adding aftermarket parts and accessories. These included a set of Cragar S/S mags, Nickey traction bars, Hurst Gabriel Dual Duty shocks, a ‘67 Corvette 427 stinger style hood, and a host of Cal Custom dress up items, including valve covers and a fly eye air cleaner. I also installed performance parts like an Edelbrock C3B aluminum high rise intake manifold, a Holley 3310 dual inlet 780 cfm carb, a set of Doug’s Headers, an L79 327 / 350 horsepower camshaft and more. With these mods, the Camaro was a solid performer, and I won my share of street races with it.”
