The new Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC Is Here

Here comes the new Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC. There is no V6 in the lineup, but the move is far from a downgrade. In times of downsizing, Mercedes equips the entry-level performance version with an electrified 2.0-liter four-cylinder electrified turbo unit.

The world’s first unit to feature an electrified exhaust gas turbocharger arrives in the Mercedes C-Class range. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder with a 48-volt electrical system provides 408 PS (402 HP) and a maximum torque of 500 Nm (369 lb-ft), with extra 14 PS in certain driving conditions. The engine transfers resources to both axles via the AMG Speedshift MCT 9G transmission and the AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive with rear-biased torque distribution.

The car comes standard with rear-axle steering and AMG Performance and the AMG Ride Control Suspension with Adaptive Damping System is optional.
