Oh man, how much fun would it be to roll into the KOA in this rig?
We had to do a double take and read this ad on Bring a Trailer very closely to figure out what this glorious 1959 VW Type 2 is pulling. Out back is an Eriba Puck trailer that is painted to match. According to the ad, “The 11-window bus left the factory finished in Mango Green and Seagull Gray, and the body was separated from the frame, stripped to bare metal, and refinished under current ownership. Exterior details include painted front and rear bumpers, dual chrome mirrors, semaphore turn signals, right-side barn doors, two hinged side windows, and a rear liftgate.
This combo-deal is way cool. At press time the bidding was up to $35,000. That’s not chump change, but somebody is going to have a unique vintage rig that will not only be a lot of fun, but probably a pretty good investment.
