Glenarm, IL – The Corvair Preservation (CFP) Museum, which has been in operation since 2016 and located in Glenarm, Illinois, on the historic Route 66, has been officially recognized by General Motors as the official Corvair museum for North America.

“It is with great joy and genuine excitement that we announce the official new name of our ‘National Corvair Museum,’ which has just been approved by General Motors,” said Mike Hall, CPF President and Museum Curator. “We look forward to a long and productive partnership with General Motors as Corvair will now have a national home for its display of historical vehicles, engines, artifacts as well as containing an archive for the history of this air-cooled wonder,” Hall added.
